Richard John, one of Worthing's most successful hair salons, has been training talented hair stylists for many years. In 2005, owner Richard John realised his dream of opening a dedicated academy, with the capacity to offer appointments 6 days a week.

Richard commented, "Previously, training appointments were only available on Mondays and Tuesdays and we constantly had a six week waiting list. We saw the potential for opening a separate salon, offering our clients a more accessible service, whilst creating a more comprehensive learning experience for our apprentices."

Since opening, the Academy has gone from strength to strength, quickly achieving Approved City & Guilds Training Centre Status, and seeing many young stylists successfully obtaining their NVQ Level II qualification. Located in Rowlands Road, Worthing, the Academy prides itself on its excellent levels of service, providing great hair styling at great value.
